It is about subcontracting Scheuers for more than 800 million euros
"There is nothing left but that the transport minister resigns," the Green parliamentarian Oliver Krischer had said in August. At that time, the Greens had submitted a legal opinion, which had come to the conclusion that Scheuer had ignored the Parliament and committed constitutional breach.
Today, there was renewed involvement between the opposition and the Ministry of Transport. It is about the question of whether Scheuer is responsible for subcontracting between the toll operators and subsidiaries. These were finally signed shortly after the termination of the toll contract by the Ministry.
Scheuer therefore accuses the toll companies of wanting to enrich themselves at the expense of taxpayers, because they could be included in the compensation. "Minister Scheuer has even in December 2018 subcontracts for 895 million euros in the contract to order," said FDP traffic expert Oliver Luksic the SPIEGEL.
