Gold prices fell to their lowest level in almost a week today, falling for the third straight session due to pressure from the dollar's rise.
Spot gold fell 0.3 percent to $ 1,489.32 an ounce, Reuters reported.
US gold futures were down 0.6 percent at $ 1494.60 an ounce.
For other precious metals, silver fell 0.6 percent to $ 17.34 an ounce, while platinum and palladium rose 0.4 percent each to $ 880.25 and $ 1665.93 an ounce.
