Oil prices fell today as new tensions emerged against the backdrop of the US-led trade war against China.
Brent crude futures fell 22 cents, or 0.35 percent, to $ 62.18 a barrel, while US West Texas Intermediate crude futures fell 20 cents, or 0.35 percent, to $ 56.81 a barrel.
Both benchmarks rose sharply yesterday on positive US inventory data.
