Oil prices fell and US crude fell more than 4 percent on renewed trade tensions but ends the month on gains.
Reuters reported that Brent contracts ended the session low $ 1.44, or 2.25 percent to settle at $ 62.43 a barrel to end the week down 1.5 percent, however, the global benchmark crude recorded the biggest month of gains since April, with a rise of about 6 percent.
US West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude futures fell $ 2.94, or 4.4 percent, to settle at $ 55.17 a barrel, ending the week down 4.1 percent after three straight weeks of gains.
On a monthly basis, US crude jumped nearly 2.3 percent, its biggest gain since June.
