Following the suspension of the mobility formula established by Mauricio Macri's management, the national government announced that retirees who receive the minimum credit will receive an increase of 13 percent in March, April and May.
The details were presented by President Alberto Fernández during a press conference with the executive director of PAMI, Luana Volnovich, and the head of the National Social Security Administration (Anses), Alejandro Vanoli.
"It has been arranged through a decree that will be approved next week that there is an increase for the minimum retirement, for family allowances and for the universal allowance per child of 13%. This 13% consists of an increase of a fixed sum of 1500 pesos for all benefits and additionally an additional 2.3% increase. Thus, the total benefits that exceed the repealed formula is 86.8%, "Vanoli said.
In addition, it was announced that there will be a list of 170 free medications for retirees. "It is a list of 170 remedies, active ingredients, which we consider from PAMI that are necessary to take care of the health of our members, the elderly," Volnovich said.
