Gold prices rose today to their highest levels in seven years.
Reuters reported that gold prices rose in immediate transactions 0.4 percent to 1625.05 dollars an ounce after reaching its highest level since February 2013 at 1626.27 dollars and prices recorded a rise since the beginning of the week 2.5 percent heading towards achieving the largest weekly gain in percentage since the third of last month .
US gold futures rose 0.4 percent to $ 1627.40.
As for other precious metals, palladium settled at 2689.06 dollars an ounce, while silver rose 0.5 percent to 18.44 dollars, while platinum rose 0.2 percent to 980 dollars.
