Why has Burguer King gone from announcing delicious hamburgers to presenting moldy products?

Gastronomic advertising usually shows us the product in all its splendor. A campaign comes to openly refute this tendency how healthy and natural it suffers over time

We are very used to seeing advertisements of the great appearance of some hamburgers from fast food restaurants after several days or months of purchase. They are as delicious and appetizing as the first day.

All this fresh and healthy aspect that they present is due to the multiple additives and preservatives that are added to it so that it degrades less than Tutankhamun's tomb. However, showing the deterioration caused by time in a food is a sign that its ingredients are natural and can only fully endure what they endure.

This is the brilliant idea that Burguer King has launched to announce that he has removed from his burgers all artificial preservatives and other additives that he previously added. The announcement, called "The moldy Whopper", shows in 45 seconds the step of 34 days in its flagship product. Without a doubt, much less appetizing than a month before.

For now, this shift towards more natural ingredients can only be seen in 400 of the almost 8,000 establishments in the United States. Soon, they say they will reach their European subsidiaries.

And one more thing: the choice of the soundtrack of this campaign played by the soul singer Dina Washington in 1959: What a difference a day makes.

In line with this campaign, other fast food establishments have taken the opportunity to make their own. Case is that of Nando's who has released his own version of the "durability" of his burgers.
