Nursing staff will have priority access to the entrance and to the cash desks of large retail chains.

All healthcare staff, on the front line in the fight against the coronavirus pandemic, will have priority access as of this Monday in most of the major retail chains to get supplies.

“All the food retailers have decided by mutual agreement to allow all nursing staff, upon presentation of professional proof (badge / card from hospital or clinic), to be able to make their purchases without having to wait, neither at the store entrance, nor at the cash desks, at any time of the day, "said the Federation of Commerce and Distribution (FCD) in a press release.

For several days, several brands had taken initiatives “to simplify the life” of nursing staff in the context of their purchases.

These measures are therefore extended to all of the FCD members (Carrefour, Aldi, Auchan, Cora, Casino, Système U, Lidl, Picard), to which the E. Leclerc and Intermarché centers have been added.
