In light of the precautionary measures applied to tackle the new Corona virus, the Real Estate Bank announced the introduction of eight new automated teller machines into service about a week ago to date, adding to 52 new teller machines that were recently operated in order to allow the largest segment of citizens to withdraw their salaries and benefits and reduce congestion on the ATMs.
In a statement to a SANA representative, Samer Suleiman, the bank’s electronic payment manager, confirmed that the real estate put into service 4 new ATMs in its branch located in the Teachers Syndicate building the New Clock Square in Homs and two ATMs in its branch in Al-Kamiliya district in front of the port in Lattakia city while three new ATMs were transferred To Daraa Governorate and it will be put into service within the next few days.
Regarding the new exchanges that were put into service recently, Suleiman explained that the ATMs were distributed on 4 ATMs on the wall of the real estate branch in Al-Assi Square in Hama, 3 in Safita, 3 in Al-Kamiliya in Lattakia, 3 in Jableh, 3 in Tartous, and 2 in the Nazareth office in Wadi Al-Nadhari in Homs countryside and 1 in the Faculty of Economics At the University of Damascus, 2 in the real estate branch of the university, 2 in the real estate branch in the Mohandessin building in Damascus, 2 in the Salihiya branch building in the Damascus Governorate, 2 in the Mowasat Square in Damascus and 25 in the central hall of the Public Administration, all of which operate until 5 pm.
