SANA viewed the cooperation mechanisms between the real estate bank and the General Post Corporation to provide salary services to workers in the state through the mentioned points of sale, where the bank’s director general, Dr. Median Ali, confirmed that the real estate has concluded a cooperation agreement since the beginning of the year with the General Post Corporation aimed at providing salary payment services to citizens with their salaries with Real estate through points of sale in centers and post offices where this agreement entered into force after the Central Bank of Syria agreed yesterday to activate points of sale.
Ali pointed out that the payment of salaries to citizens with their salaries at the real estate through points of sale that amount to about two hundred points of sale in various governorates represents an additional option in addition to automated teller machines and is not a substitute for it. With regard to providing salaries for citizens with their salaries at the Commercial Bank of Syria, Ali pointed out that they can benefit from the service of paying salaries through points of sale when completing the networking process between real estate and commercial banks, which is currently being implemented by engineers specialized in banks, indicating that dealers who get their salaries From the industrial banks and the popular credit, receiving their salaries through the aforementioned points of sale, because the real estate is the one that provides them with the salaries service.
The bank is currently working, according to the Real Estate Manager, to prepare a schedule of distribution of points of sale to the post offices in cities and rural areas, indicating in the same context that all ATMs are within the service and are being fed around the clock, while today two new automatic teller machines have been installed in the municipality of Sahnaya in Damascus countryside, which will be put into service in Within days.
In a similar statement, Eng. Hayyan Maqsoud, Director General of the Syrian Postal Corporation, stated that activating the service of providing salaries through points of sale in post offices helps an important segment of citizens in the countryside to receive their salaries from the nearest post office, pointing out that the institution will this month based on the distribution of points of sale to Post offices activate these points and install POS devices in post offices that require technical equipment and networking.
And Maqsoud indicated that after completing the payment of a single salary to the customer through the "POS" device at the points of sale in the post offices, a fee will be deducted for the benefit of the General Post Corporation and several public bodies specified in "300" Syrian pounds from the customer's account in exchange for paying the salary to him.
With regard to the work of the institution, Maqsoud explained that the institution is studying with the Syrian Commercial Bank to provide a number of services affiliated with the bank through the post offices, knowing that it cooperates with the Ministry of Interior to provide a number of services across offices such as civil affairs documents, the summary of the judicial record and with the Ministry of Administrative Development to provide public registry services For workers in the state.
Maqsoud stressed that the Foundation also provides salary payment services to more than 400,000 retirees from the accounts of the General Organization for Social Insurance, where the annual salary paid mass amounts to 90 billion and 900 million Syrian pounds and from the accounts of the General Insurance and Pensions Authority with a mass of 5 and a half billion Syrian pounds.
