The price of the dollar rose today against major currencies, due to concerns over the escalating tension between the United States and China.
Reuters reported that the dollar rose by 0.24 percent to 0925.1 for the euro, and the dollar reached 9715.0 Swiss francs and the British pound settled at 1,216.1 dollars.
The Australian dollar fell 0.49 percent to $ 6,535. The New Zealand dollar fell to $ 6,106.
The yen rose to 107.46 per dollar, and the Japanese currency rose 0.6 percent against the Australian dollar.
