Sign of the scale taken in recent years by the collaboration between start-ups and large groups, two barometers were dedicated to him this Thursday. As should be expected, the Covid-19 pandemic has dealt a serious blow to this cooperation, initially a vector of growth for both. And start-ups have been hit hard, according to the study by Raise and Bain & Company, conducted with more than 120 start-ups and 26 large groups, as part of the David initiative with Goliath, the alliance of young people and big companies. Thus, 80% of start-ups are negatively impacted and a third feel threatened for their survival. In addition, 70% of those who were on the verge of starting a collaboration with a large group saw their projects shifted or stopped. Those who have already signed a contract are also penalized, with 40% of their proof of feasibility (POC) and 30% of existing partnerships which are postponed or stopped.
