The Government backtracked with the application of 10.5 percent VAT on milk, which was foreseen in the budget expansion project.

The national deputy and member of the Budget and Finance commission, Itai Hagman, announced it after a meeting with the Minister of Economy, Martín Guzmán.

"We agreed to leave the discussions linked to tax issues to a deep debate that will take place with the next budget. A comprehensive tax reform that Argentina needs a long time ago. The specific measure of VAT and milk will remain for that moment," said Hagman.

We just had a very good meeting of deputies from @FrenteDeTodos with Minister @Martin_M_Guzman to review tomorrow's legislative agenda where we will discuss debt restructuring under local legislation and budget expansion.
