These companies, in order to have the necessary equity, will benefit from various instruments: "either convertible bonds or participating loans", continues Bruno Le Maire. "In the recovery plan, we will put three billion euros on supporting the financing of companies, to allow them to develop," he says.

30 billion for the ecological transition

This 100 billion euro plan is due to be presented on August 25. Prime Minister Jean Castex has already presented some broad outlines, with 30 billion arrows on ecological transition, part of which overlaps with 40 billion euros devoted to industry.

This plan, which will be backed by the state budget for 2021, also includes a “skills” section and a “solidarity” section , for 20 billion each. About 40 billion euros of the 100 billion should come from 390 billion euros in subsidies from the European recovery plan.
