Crude oil prices fell today, affected by expectations of the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries OPEC that the demand for its oil will decline more than expected during this year.
According to Reuters, Brent crude fell eight cents to $ 45.35 a barrel, while West Texas Intermediate crude fell four cents to $ 42.62 a barrel.
The OPEC said in its monthly report yesterday that global demand for oil will fall 6.96 million barrels per day this year.
