On the way on the A13, the driver stops around 10 p.m. at the Bosgouet area and tells passengers that the break will last 15 minutes. We had a 7-hour bus ride without a toilet. When this break came, we said 'owl', ”recalls Sophie to the Parisian . The two friends get out of the bus, " we had to queue for the toilets, get a bottle of water ... In all, we had to take 10 minutes, big max ", explains Gaëlle to Le Parisien . However, by returning to the parking lot, the FlixBus had already left.

Worried, the two friends try to contact the driver, then FlixBus, but remain unanswered. A cashier from the area called to find out if there were others forgotten like us, but nothing at all. So, she ended up contacting the gendarmes who couldn't do much ... ”they remember.

They finally decide to contact Gaëlle's parents, living near Saint-Germain-en-Laye (Yvelines), who come to pick them up. At the same time, Sophie and Gaëlle send a friend to collect their luggage left on the coach upon arrival at the Paris Bercy bus station. We paid 50 euros for our tickets in all, our friend had to pay for an Uber, Gaëlle's parents had to pay the tolls ... Not to mention the anguish that this generated ”, lists Sophie. The two friends are now asking for compensation from FlixBus.

Contacted by the Parisian , FlixBus says that “ the driver in question has indeed announced a 15-minute break. Passengers told him he was missing people so he waited an additional 4 minutes. At the end of these 4 minutes, late passengers returned and he left. "

The driver assured his company that he had counted the number of passengers on board the bus. FlixBus recalls, however, that “ drivers are not required to recount. They have a very precise driving time, with a roadmap including breaks ... It's like the train, it's the customer's responsibility to be on time. "
