Donald Trump called on Wednesday to boycott Goodyear tires, after the disclosure by an employee of internal rules deeming “unacceptable” to wear clothes bearing the campaign slogan of the president-candidate, or any other political party.

“Don't buy Goodyear tires , ” Donald Trump tweeted. The reason for his anger: "They announced a ban on MAGA hats" stands for "Make America great again" ( "Making the American greatness" ), the slogan of the president during his last campaign.
A photo, which seems to have been taken during an internal training, was widely relayed on social networks. It shows a presentation, indicating which messages can and cannot be displayed by employees at their workplace. In the category 'acceptable' : black lives matter (BLM) ( "Black lives matter" ) and LGBT. On the other hand, are considered unacceptable, the slogans Blue Lives Matter (movement in support of the police), and All Lives Matter ( "All lives matter" , used by the supporters of Donald Trump in opposition to the BLM movement), as well as the clothing displaying Donald Trump's slogan, MAGA, and any other display of political opinion.
According to local channel 13 News, which posted the photo, the presentation was made at the Goodyear plant in Topeka, Kansas, and comes from the group's headquarters in Akron, Ohio.
Goodyear shares retreat on Wall Street
Goodyear reacted on Wednesday on Twitter, assuring that the “concerned visual was neither created nor distributed by the Goodyear company, and is not part of a training on diversity either” .
The US tire maker also said employees are being asked not to disclose any political affiliation in the workplace. This controversy made the Goodyear share decline on Wall Street: it lost 3.54% at 5:00 p.m. GMT.
