Will telework be better supervised in France? This is what Prime Minister Jean Castex wants, who has met the social partners in order to better regulate remote work. Asked this morning on France Inter , however, he remained rather vague on the outlines of the device to be put in place to frame teleworking, measures which should be done on a case-by-case basis in each company.

“The message must be consistent everywhere, economic life must resume, he hammered several times during his interview. The principle is simple: we go back to work, and it can be just telework. ”
Optimize teleworking
Jean Castex estimated that before the Covid-19 crisis, teleworking had “ not very good press ”, and that some considered it to be the tool of “ lazy people ”. “ This is a positive and structural effect of the crisis. We are going to start looking at teleworking differently, and even say to ourselves that teleworking is being organized ”, he continued before announcing that he had met the social partners to “ make proposals to know, company by company, how teleworking can be improved, optimized and become a fact of society ” .

Regarding the obligation to wear a mask in companies, scheduled for September 1, the Prime Minister also specified that he was considering adapting this measure to the demand of companies and social partners. " We have seized the High Council of Public Health which must give its opinion at the end of the week and we will, in conjunction with the social partners be able to adapt this rule ", he reassured.
