The Government launched the third line of the Procrear 2020 program. These are the Mejoramientos Gas credits for home connections to natural gas networks, with fixed rates of 16% and a term of 60 installments.
This line is added to the Microcredits and Refurbishment Improvement, which were already enabled and which will have their first draw this Friday.
The loan includes the installation to the gas network of up to 3 outlets per home (kitchen, water heater and stove). 34 thousand credits will be granted , according to the official estimate.
To apply for the credit, the interested parties must have a valid ID, Argentine nationality or permanent residence in the country, between 18 and 68 years old, have income (formal or informal) at the time of registration that does not exceed $ 84,375 (5 minimum wages vital and mobile of $ 16,875) and be owners or tenants of a home that does not have connection to the natural gas network.
The program has a fixed interest rate of 16% and a credit term of 5 years (60 months). The amount of the credits is up to $ 44,500 and $ 61,500 in the Patagonian region.
The initial fee will be included in the gas bill. The providers that participate in the program are Gasnor, Gas NEA and Buenos Aires Gas.
To register, you must enter the Procrear site. If the person who signs up meets all the requirements according to the criteria established in the Bases and Conditions of the line, the Ministry of Territorial Development and Habitat will notify the steps to follow to start the credit processing process.
The Procrear program plans to launch a total of nine lines, including mortgage and personal loans. Among the personal credits, the one for Sustainable Improvements remains to be launched.
For their part, the mortgage credit lines are divided into Urban Development, Housing Development, Construction, Expansion and Lots with services. But they are not yet available.
The Government estimated that 300,000 loans will be granted, 44,000 new homes will be built and 10,000 new lots with services throughout the country will be awarded.
The total investment will reach $ 25 billion.
