The almost 2,000 clinics in Germany are receiving financial support beyond the Corona crisis: the federal government is making three billion euros available for investments.

The Bundestag decided with the votes of the coalition and the FDP.

The federal states are contributing a further 1.3 billion to the program.

The hospitals should be able to use the money to better care for emergency patients even after the Corona crisis.

In addition, we want to invest in digitization and improve IT security.

It was not until Thursday that a hacker attack on the Düsseldorf University Hospital became known, as a result of which a woman had died.
