Surprisingly, the state-owned company YPF announced that starting at midnight this Saturday it will make an
average
increase of 3.5%
of its fuels throughout Argentina.
As specified in a statement, "the objective of
sustaining the company's production activity
taking into account the particularities of the country's macroeconomic context."
"This increase is in line with the decision to restore
historical asymmetries
at the federal level, closing gaps between the Federal Capital and the interior of the country," he added.
In this sense, he gave as an example that, "once the logistics costs have been calculated, Jujuy is today + 4.5% with respect to the country's capital."
The text also specified that the 15% discount for health personnel will be maintained, a benefit that reaches "some 100,000 people who are attached to the YPF program and who are making a huge effort for the health of all Argentines."
