This weekend, the annual fundraising event of the Israel Cancer Research Foundation ICRF was held live in hybrid format, with the participation of hundreds of the foundation's supporters, some of whom were present at the Petah Tikva Psalm Studios, and most of them participated in ZOOM.

Among those present at the studio are Prof. Aharon Ciechanover and Prof. Avraham Hershko, Nobel Laureates in Chemistry, whose initial research was funded by the Israel Cancer Research Foundation, which later led to the Nobel Prize.

This year, Prof. Hershko once again won a scholarship from the foundation, this time for the prestigious "Professor" scholarship.

Gilat announced the launch of a new campaign by the foundation: "Adopt Research - Adopt a Researcher", in which the fund's donors can adopt a full or partial study of an Israeli cancer researcher selected by the foundation.

During the evening, Yonatan David, who previously dealt with cancer, donated a bridge scholarship worth NIS 200,000 per year for 3 years, in honor of L.A.
