Teleworking: Framatome has an agreement from which workers can also benefit

The manufacturer of components for nuclear power plants has just signed a new agreement which allows the group's activity to be completely reorganized and gives pride of place to remote work.


National procrastination does not prevent agreements on the ground.

At Framatome, management and employee representatives did not wait for the large employers' organizations and unions, which have been discussing since June, to end up finding a compromise to tackle the issue of teleworking.

The manufacturer of components for nuclear power plants has just signed a new agreement which allows the group's activity to be completely reorganized and gives pride of place to remote work.

Validated on July 31 by the representatives of management and the four representative unions (CFDT, CFE-CGC, CGT and FO), the new methods of recourse to teleworking will be applicable from October 1.

The company is not at its first attempt.

Framatome, which employs 9,000 people in France, had already signed an agreement ten years ago allowing its employees, whose jobs were compatible, to carry out a day of teleworking.
