The Government will extend the validity of the Decree of Necessity and Urgency (DNU) that
freezes rents and prohibits evictions
, and also the one that maintains the installments of UVA credits, while defining the payment of the Emergency Family Income (IFE) 4.
It was advanced by the Deputy Chief of Staff, Cecilia Todesca, who in radio statements specified that "the two decrees are already written" and will be signed and published.
"The two decrees are already written, what I can anticipate, because they have not yet been signed, is that we are
going to continue accompanying the people who rent
because we understand that these months have been difficult, that the families have not yet been able to recover all the income that they have lost as a result of the pandemic, "said Todesca in an interview with radio
La Red
.
And he added: "It seems to us that we must accompany the people who rent and in the same sense the issue of
UVA credits for single homes of up to 120 thousand UVAs
also continue with the freeze, and then make a schedule to slowly adjust in 18 months the quota to what would have corresponded, in such a way that for families it is not a blow from one day to the next, "he said.
The extension of Decree 320/20 is for the signature of the President.

The official also referred to the payment of the IFE 4, which, as specified, is evaluated in relation to "how is the health situation."
"We have discussed it a lot, and there is still no decision made because both the IFE and the ATP (Emergency Assistance Program for Work and Production) evaluate them, treating them based on how the health issue is," he said.
And he added: "The eye is on how to address and what is the best way to spend the 90 billion that the $ 10,000 bond demands."
Days ago, the head of ANSES, Fernanda Raverta, said in an interview the new stage of the IFE will be defined "before the end of the month", and pointed out that it is evaluating "
whether there is a fourth payment or progress is made in another social policy
of accompaniment with other perspectives. "
One of the possibilities is that the IFE is kept only for the youngest.
"We have to start thinking about other populations that, with assistance from the state, could develop their capacities and potentialities, such as boys between 18 and 24 years old who study in Argentina," said the Mar del Plata official at the time.
He insisted that due to the advance of the pandemic it is not possible to say "nor how many IFE there will be or how they will be", and closed: "What we do all the time is to review based on health and the economic situation and from there make the decisions ".
