A senior official at the International Monetary Fund said that the global economic outlook remains difficult due to the Coronavirus pandemic and its impact on many sectors.
Reuters quoted a spokesman for the Fund, Jerry Rice, as saying today that the situation is still unstable in many developing countries and emerging markets, pointing out that the IMF is also concerned about the growing levels of debt in these countries, other than China, which showed good economic data, in addition to advanced economies.
And previous forecasts showed that the global economy faces trillions of dollars in losses due to the outbreak of the new Corona virus, with the world entering the largest recession since the 1930s.
