Gold prices stabilized today with the dollar retreating from its highest level in two months.
Reuters reported that gold settled at $ 1880.1 an ounce, after rising in the previous session 1.1 percent, the largest daily gain since late August.
Gold rose in futures trading in the United States 0.2 percent to 1885.50 dollars an ounce.
As for the other precious metals, silver fell 1 percent to $ 23.49 an ounce, platinum lost 0.3 percent to $ 876.47, while palladium gained 0.4 percent to $ 2263.97.
