Oil prices decreased for the second consecutive day in today's trading, continuing to incur large losses in light of the increase in Coronavirus infections.
Reuters reported that Brent crude futures for delivery next November fell 40 cents, equivalent to 1 percent, while US West Texas Intermediate crude lost 32 cents, equivalent to 0.8 percent, to $ 38.97 a barrel.
The deadline for the November contract expires today and is replaced by the December contract, which in turn decreased by about 0.7 percent to $ 41.25.
