The teleworking of public officials will be stepped up in geographic sectors considered to be "
enhanced or maximum alert zones
", Minister of Transformation and Civil Service Amélie de Montchalin told reporters on Tuesday.

A circular will be signed and published to this effect Tuesday evening, addressed to all ministers, indicating that teleworking must be encouraged in that it participates in the prevention process
", declared Ms. de Montchalin during a press point telephone.
“
We strongly encourage department heads and employers, in particular in heightened alert zones and maximum alert zones, that two to three days of telework per week be integrated into work organizations when ( that) does not harm the continuity of the public service
”, she specified.
The Minister insisted on the establishment of this reinforced teleworking "
within the framework of a quality social dialogue and follow-up

at the decentralized level
" and "
under
adequate
conditions of implementation
".
She recalled that "
an envelope of 200 million euros
" must be devoted to the deployment of remote tools in the recovery plan.
Excluding teachers, teleworking concerned Tuesday "
20% of public officials of the State equipped as in the office, against 12% in March, and with a target of 25% at the end of 2020
", specified the minister.
The circular "
is intended to be adapted to the territorial and hospital public services
", she added.

Regarding teleworking in the public service more generally, as in the private sector, the Minister indicated that a reflection was underway and that meetings with trade unions and employers were "
scheduled
" in order to "
see, at - beyond the crisis, how we organize the workspaces and how we equip the agents
