The Government set
new
maximum reference
prices
for propane and butane gas, and for the sale of gas in cylinders, as well as increasing the subsidy for the Household Program.
Through Resolution 30/2020 of the Ministry of Energy, published this Monday in the Official Gazette, a price of $ 359.62 was set for 10-kilogram carafes;
for those of 12 kilograms, $ 431.55;
and for those of 15 kilograms, $ 539.44.
In all cases, the norm meant
an increase of 25.4%
compared to the last value established in May of last year.
These values do not include VAT, Gross Income or the cost for home delivery.
Meanwhile, it set at $ 10,885 the maximum value at the producer's plant for a ton of propane gas and butane for domestic use destined for carafe.
In addition, the resolution increased the subsidy per bottle for the Hogares Program to $ 254, that is, by 38.79%.
The Home Program is a subsidy provided by the State, through the National Social Security Administration (ANSES), for the purchase of carafes to families who declare a situation of vulnerability and whose homes are not connected to the natural gas network .
It is channeled through a monthly amount, which is regulated by the Ministry of Energy of the Nation, a body that is also in charge of carrying out periodic controls to quantify the amount of the benefit.
To receive it, requirements are requested
that no member of the family group have a gas meter in their name, since that way the connection to the network would be recorded;
have updated data (father / mother-child / possession and spouse / partner) in ANSES, and that the family member with the highest income does not exceed two minimum wages, vital and mobile.
On this last point, if a person with a certificate of disability (CUD) issued by the competent authority resides in the home, the highest income of the inhabitants of the home must not exceed three minimum wages, vital and mobile.
The process to request it is done online
, through the My ANSES site, or also at one of the service points that ANSES has throughout the country.

The validity of the subsidy is for 12 months
from the date of granting and is subject to a monthly right control carried out by the Ministry of Energy.
Prior to expiration, the beneficiary must request it again through the ANSES website.
