The situation is improving on the automotive front.
Renault reported third quarter 2020 revenue of € 10.37 billion.
At constant exchange rates and perimeter, the decline reached 3.2%.
The decline in activity is continuing, therefore, but it has nothing to do with that of the first half, when it stood at 32.9%!

In terms of number of vehicles, sales fell 6.1% over the period from July to September.
Over the first nine months of the year, however, the fall was still very significant, at - 26% with 2.06 million vehicles sold.
“After the disastrous effects of containment in Europe in the second quarter, we have seen a strong recovery in volume,”
explained Clotilde Delbos, deputy general manager of Renault.
Despite this recovery from one quarter to the next,
"demand on developing markets continues to decline,"
admitted Clotilde Delbos.
