Employment: "100,000 young people will be able to find a job in the public service in 2021", assures Amélie de Montchalin

The State invests in apprenticeship contracts for the territorial public service, explained this morning the Minister of Transformation and the Public Service.


Amélie de Montchalin spoke this morning on the set of Public Senate about positions in the public service, stating that "

in 2021, 100,000 young people will be able to find a job

", and that "

either by competition or by contract , either because they will want to be apprentices, or through civic service

. "

To encourage communities to welcome young people into their structures, the Minister of Transformation and the Civil Service affirmed that the State was "in the

process of investing for all apprenticeship contracts

She specified that "

between July 1, 2020 and February 28, 2021, all apprenticeship contracts in the territorial public service are supported for employers up to 3000 euros

".

Asked about the reduction in the number of civil servants, Amélie de Montchalin explained that the government was reallocating “

our forces

”: “

we continue to hire in certain sectors such as security, education, justice.
