It's hard to overstate how thrilled economists are that Joe Biden has chosen Janet Yellen as the next Treasury Secretary (equivalent to Finance Minister).
Some of this enthusiasm reflects the revolutionary nature of his appointment.
Not only will she be the first woman to hold the position, but she will also be the first person to have held the traditional three top positions in politics.
