Small associations of the social and solidarity economy will be able to benefit from the emergency fund of 30 million euros promised this fall, said Friday the Secretary of State in charge of the file by announcing the opening of the one-stop shop allowing structures to come forward.

Called UrgenceESS, this measure, intended primarily for small entities in the sector employing less than ten employees, will be piloted by the associative movement France Active, which oversees 40 regional associations.

The fund aims to support 5,000 structures by spring.

This fund, adopted by the National Assembly as part of the fourth amending finance bill for 2020, will offer assistance of between 5,000 and 8,000 euros to each association by making a request, depending on its size and needs.

At the end of October, the Union of Employers of the Social and Solidarity Economy (Udes) had asked to expand to one billion euros the investment fund used to finance measures to assist the entire sector, against 400 million euros initially provided for in the recovery plan.
