The supermarket chain led by businessman Alfredo Coto continues its expansion on the Atlantic Coast.
The commercial project located at the entrance to Cariló, in the Madariaga district, has just been completed,
after an investment of US$ 13 million.
This shopping complex is the third in the chain on the Coast, and joins the ones in Mar de Ajó and Mar del Tuyú.

The project required the creation of 50 new direct jobs, plus another 300 indirect jobs.
The work was carried out in the Coto mega store and “includes improvements throughout the operation, expansion of the sales room for more and better assortment, highlighting the warehouse area, expansion of the parking lot.
In addition, it adds improvements for the operation of digital commerce,” the company said in a statement.

These jobs allow the company to improve its delivery service, a modality that grew exponentially during the pandemic and became consolidated.
Currently, Coto Digital covers the Partido de la Costa,
an area of high demand at this time of year, due to the influx of tourists.
Precisely, the growth in seasonal sales led the chain to accelerate the plan to open a similar branch in
Mar del Plata, where it would arrive for the first time.
To formalize the conclusion of the Madariaga project, Alfredo Coto, his wife, Gloria and Guillermo Calcagno were received by the mayor of Madariaga, Esteban Santoro.
At the meeting, they talked about this latest investment made by the chain and the local businessman's plans for the future.
