The 2022 annual report on tax advisors, published late, and which we were able to consult, notes that two thirds of the nine “tax advisors”, paid since the law authorized it, have denounced French residents who own assets not declared in France.

Thus, in 2022 alone, two tax advisors made it possible to recover 35 million euros of unpaid taxes, and the fines that go with them, for assets hidden abroad.
The first deal alone brought in 28 million euros.
In this case, civil or commercial structures had been created to conceal significant real estate and financial assets from the French administration.
For the other two files, the investigations had been opened a few years ago and had already been the subject of a first compensation.
But the quality of the information provided by the source made it possible to uncover other tax frauds and lead to new compensation.
