This is a partnership that will make even the most gourmands salivate.
In the United States, McDonald's has decided to enter into a partnership with donut specialist Krispy Kreme.
In a joint press release, the partners mention availability on a national scale
“planned for the end of 2026”
.
This initiative also
follows a successful test in 160 McDonald's restaurants in the Lexington and Louisville, Kentucky areas
, where customer enthusiasm and demand reportedly exceeded McDonald's expectations.
The two companies will launch a three-donut offer at Golden Arches outlets.
Thus, consumers will be able to find the iconic original glazed donut, the chocolate glazed one and a final one, filled with Kreme chocolate.
They will be available individually or in boxes of six,
“from breakfast and throughout the day – while stocks last”,
detail the two brands.
Three Krispy Kreme donuts will be offered at McDonald's.

Krispy Kreme price soars
The donut brand, whose first store in France recently opened its doors in Paris, saw its share price jump on the stock market following the announcement of this partnership.
The stock gained up to 27% at the opening of the markets, before falling to around +20% in the middle of the day.
In fact, this collaboration will allow Krispy Kreme
“to more than double (its) access points,”
specifies the boss of the donut brand, Josh Charlesworth.
The brand currently has 14,000 points of sale around the world, spread across 35 countries.
To prepare for this new stage in its history, the company began to develop its supply chain and established a support team.
For its part, the announcement did not particularly shake up the price of McDonald's.
The partnership is in reality just another attempt by the American fast food giant to diversify its offering.
Tariq Hassan, director of marketing and customer experience at McDonald's USA, welcomed this agreement, because it represents
“an exciting new step in this journey and a chance to unlock new business opportunities”
.
Last year, the fast food giant removed its apple donut, its blueberry muffin and all its cinnamon rolls from its menu.
However, it has kept its chocolate chip cookies, its Apple Pie and its famous McFlurry frozen desserts, which constitute the heart of its sweet offering.
Krispy Kreme and McDonald's will provide more details on the U.S. rollout of this project in the coming months.
It remains to be seen when it will be possible to enjoy a donut in the famous fast food restaurants in France.
Contacted by us, a spokesperson for McDonald's France considered it premature to make a comment on the subject.
You will therefore undoubtedly have to be patient...
