In the midst of the controversy and questions about the versions that indicated that the April pensions
would be paid in two installments
, the Government explained the reasons why it ordered the "splitting" between the accreditation of the assets and the bonus.
It was presidential spokesperson Manuel Adorni who, with an audio message sent to Miter radio, explained why there will be
two different deposits
.
"First the decree of the retirement formula came out and then the decree of the bonus, of $70,000 pesos, was published, and since we are at the end of the month due to the issue of working days, which we ran out of, what is going to happen is that will be paid to retirees in
two different settlements.
One for retirement applying the new formula, the new scheme, and another with the bonus," Adorni said.
"It is done at two different times, but not because they are paid in installments but because administratively it has to be done at two different times, nothing more," he tried to justify.
In that same message, he specified that the time between one payment and another "will be what the administrative processes dictate" but assured that "it will be immediate."
