Despite the bad weather conditions, workers at the General Company for Tartous Electricity continue their work in repairing electrical networks and securing the arrival of electricity to citizens in various areas of the governorate.

Al Qadmous Electricity Department workshops, despite the thickening snow and forming ice in the countryside of the region, especially the northeastern side, went to the region to fix the faults that hit the network, and the most affected areas were those in the village of Al Hateriyah and the Al Zaitara farm that feeds from the inventory line, according to the head of the Qadmous Electricity Department, Engineer Mohsen Ruqaya.

Roqaya confirmed that he went with the three departmental workshops to fix faults in the sector on three axes: the square, Hammam Wasel, and the inventory line.

In the Akkar Plain, electricity failures were very large due to the wind speed in the area called Fatha Homs, which led to the separation of the exits of the Samarian six feeding station for the entire sector, according to engineer Samir Deeb, head of the Electricity Department of the Akkar Plain, which showed that the wind speed led to uprooting the trees that fell on the feeding networks On more than one line in Bahouzi, Khirbet Al-Kurds and Al-Mentar.

Deeb explained that the damages consisted of breaking two columns and damaging a transformer due to the occurrence of a column on it, and 90 percent of them were repaired despite the risk of going up the columns under the current weather conditions.

The breakdowns in Mashta al-Hilu were not any better, as the electricity workshops contributed to isolating the roads leading to the village of Insight of Inventory, raising the wires on the ground to facilitate the opening process by the competent authorities, and an initial inventory of the damages on the network, which were initially represented by what was confirmed by the head of the Mashta al-Helu Electricity Department, Engineer Badea Muhammad has at least five low and medium tension towers and no fewer than seven low tension poles, one of them partially or completely damaged.
