An explosion in an apartment in Strasbourg left one dead and two injured early Saturday morning, announced the first deputy mayor of the city, Alain Fontanel.
"An explosion blew an apartment, leaving one victim and two injured" in a building in the Meinau district, south of Strasbourg, he said on his Facebook page, confirming information from the regional daily newspaper Les Actualités Nouvelles d 'Alsace (DNA).
