Passers-by who had observed the accident informed the emergency call . The two injured were first looked after by the ambulance service and taken to the hospital in Schwaz (Tyrol).
The rescue of the Tesla presented the fire departments of Stumm and Schwaz with a challenge. As damage to the battery installed in the car could not be ruled out, the fire department's operations manager requested the fire department as they had a special container for fires and accidents can be used with electric cars.
Tesla accidented by Münchner (27) - E-car is brought to a safe place
After the vehicle was recovered using a cable winch, the electric car was loaded into the container with the crane and brought to a secure location. The Tesla hadn't burned - so it didn't have to be flooded. Since damage to the battery and thus a possible fire could not be ruled out, it was decided that the vehicle should remain in the container for at least 72 hours.
If the Tesla * does catch fire, the container can be flooded. Control of the vehicle is monitored by the local fire department .
