Berlin (dpa / tmn) - The CX-3 is Mazda's first compact SUV. It is based on the same platform as the Mazda 2 compact car and is classified under the CX-30 launched in late 2019 and the even larger CX-5. At the TÜV, the young used man has a clean slate - at least almost.
Model history: on the market since 2015. With the outwardly discreet facelift of 2019, a larger diesel was offered. Since then, all engines have met the Euro 6d-Temp emissions standard. Connectivity and assistance systems have been optimized.

Also reliable in the still young model: low beam, rear lighting, turn signals and exhaust system.
Weaknesses: While one can criticize the space available in the rear and the lack of clarity, the first appointment for the main vehicle inspection (HU) shows only occasionally attacked dampers and the front light with increased defect rates. The report says: "Whether it really delivers durable quality will be shown by the further TÜV career."
Breakdown behavior: The Mazda does not yet appear in the ADAC breakdown statistics, which is quite relevant for those interested in young used vehicles. According to the TÜV report, his drivers are disturbed by the sometimes slow-moving navigation system and the thin-walled seats, which become uncomfortable on longer journeys - but none of the breakdown-relevant criticisms.
