Confined to his home, the singer Calogero co-wrote with Bruno Guglielmi a new title. Entitled We pretend, this new song tells how the confined perceive and adapt to their situation. The artist's sweet voice is accompanied by a simple piano in this song which is both light in its melody and yet so serious in its words.

We act as if everyone's everyday life is approaching: the balconies of resistance, the management of children, the pressure of the media or even the absence of contact with those close to them. All these themes which are both disturbing in their crisis situation but also reassuring in the fine proofs of solidarity they evoke. Calogero does not forget to hope by evoking France after, happier than in these troubled times.

On the Internet, the video has already recorded more than fifteen million views (YouTube and social networks) and more than 500,000 shares. Very high figures for a production that has only been available for five days but also logical given the availability of each. His remarks, centered on confinement, allowed the artist to surf the news and therefore reach a large audience.

The particularity of this new title is based on its economic model. All proceeds will be donated to the Hôpital de Paris - Hôpitaux de France foundation. The title, available from today on all download and streaming platforms, is above all a call for donations to healthcare staff.

In France, hospitals and care centers have faced a shortage of human, material and financial resources for several months, even years, and the epidemic has added to the difficulties encountered by nursing staff. We act as if there is therefore an opportunity for the French to help the men and women who work day and night during this unprecedented health crisis. This initiative is part of a collective tendency of musical artists like Roméo Elvis to support with songs, but also donations, the nursing staff.
