About half a million children return to the education system today (Sunday), with the partial removal of the restrictions imposed by the government during the closure.

But the decision made just over the weekend to return the 20,000 early-childhood and early-six-year-olds to activity found the education system unprepared: without a neat outline and organized capsules, and kindergarteners required to find a solution for their returning children within a few days.

Opening the institutions in this way has led to concern and criticism both among parents whose children are returning to kindergarten and among kindergarten teachers, and these expect many disruptions on the day the system is opened.

Meanwhile, the supervised day care centers have announced that they will not be able to open the institutions today, as the Ministry of Labor, which is in charge of these dormitories, has not yet issued instructions for opening them and they are subject to the regulator.

The teachers' union noticed the problems of the move, and already on Thursday, with its approval, they announced that the education system is not prepared to open the kindergartens with such notice.

This is because there are no means of protection in the institutions and no dialogue has taken place with the area to find solutions for their kindergarten teachers who have children.

Yifat Agam-Phosphus, a kindergarten teacher in a pre-compulsory kindergarten in Kiryat Ono, told Walla!

NEWS on her concern from today.

"We go back to kindergartens without a neat and organized outline, with a lot of doubts, and a lot of questions. There are no neat guidelines that explain exactly how to act, how to be careful and guarded. Some parents come without masks," she said.

She wondered, "Who is supposed to enforce this? We ask the parents and they do not always respond and understand what is needed."

She described the difficulties expected from the sudden move.

"I have children whose first time it was in kindergarten. How do you pick them up again? It's like September 1st, how will the readjustment to kindergarten take place, it's a difficulty, children cry, children do not want to leave their parents, we can not take them by force, impossible To be next to a parent and we are exposed there. "

Lake-Phosphus Accommodation for the institutions' unpreparedness for a case of illness among staff members.

"And what happens when a kindergarten teacher or assistant is sick? Even in pre-corona diseases there are no replacements. And what about disinfectants, protection. The whole issue of at-risk staff, gardeners, assistants, what happens with that? Commitment to getting to work? "Let's see which garden will be closed first."

6 days a week, without capsules: the outline for opening kindergartens

Meital, a mother of three from Kiryat Ono, two of whose children are over kindergarten, decided not to send her children to the educational institution.

"I am not in a hurry to send them to kindergartens because I think they opened the education system too quickly. Just last week the morbidity in the country started to decline, so I think we have to wait a little longer to stabilize and not return to a third closure," she said.

According to her, one of the reasons she chose not to send the children back to school is because the citizens do not obey the instructions.

"Some parents come to kindergartens without masks, and the kindergarten teachers comment on this every time and emphasize the guidelines. But the parents are not strict, and can not be educated. In addition, there is no strictness of social distance and there was not during any closure," she said.

"See it in the various parks around the city. In addition, the children are known to be asymptomatic and do not develop signs of disease and it is not possible to know if there is a coronary heart disease in the kindergarten unless the kindergartener is infected and then everyone goes out in isolation.

The problematic timing led the mayor of Ramat Gan, Carmel Shama HaCohen, to decide not to open the institutions in the city.

"We started the week with a new government directive according to which gardeners and assistants from red cities will not be able to go to work," the mayor wrote.

"In the Ramat Gan kindergartens and daycare centers, about half of the staff are from Bnei Brak, and these are hundreds for whom no alternative can be recruited from today until tomorrow."

He noted that the municipality is convening a meeting to examine creative solutions that will allow the kindergartens and daycare centers to open on Monday.

The Ministry of Labor has not issued any instructions for opening day care centers

Despite the government's decision to open the institutions, the Ministry of Labor and Welfare did not send a detailed notice regarding guidelines for opening supervised day care centers (WIZO, NAMAT, Women of Liberty in Israel and more).

This situation leaves the dormitories uncertain about the return of the children and the date of the return of their employees from the hospital. At the same time, the institutions are receiving attacks from the parents of the children who seek to return them to school.

Mira Minas, WIZO CEO, told Walla!

NEWS about the complex situation she and her team are dealing with.

"The regulations for opening the dormitories have not yet been published, they are in fact not ready yet. Amir Medina, who is in charge of the dormitories in the labor arm of the Ministry of Welfare, told me that they expect three days to open the dormitories from the moment the regulations are published."

"The media addresses us as if we are responsible for this story, we are responsible for opening but are not allowed to open without regulations and without clear instructions especially in the days of Corona," she continued.

"My regulator says 'wait for instructions and only after three days you will open' and that for them it is irresponsible and not serious without days of preparation. And on the other hand, we are attacked by parents by delaying the opening of dormitories and why we do not prepare before or open on Sunday."

She said, "This is a conduct that has become scandalous, and all the fire is directed at us from the parents."

"The conduct has become scandalous."

Anat Livin, the mother of a one-and-a-half-year-old girl who belongs to the WIZO home in Tel Aviv, expressed outrage at the conduct of the state and the Ministry of Labor, which were not held in time for the education system to open.

And that's because there are no guidelines.

The Ministry of Labor had 40 days, what did they do all this time? ", Halina.

" The same problems that the Ministry of Education had to deal with, even in day care centers will have to deal with, "she said." Why were they not prepared for that?

It's just the highest level of negligence there is.

From Tuesday everyone got organized and assumed we would leave the quarantine, where is the office?

Where are the people in charge of the dormitories?

On September 17, it was not clear to him that we would leave this quarantine shortly after the holidays?

It's just a disgrace, "she said." I'm not talking about supervised dormitories being supposed to release women to work, fortunately, I have the means and I can go to work tomorrow, but what about parents who can't? ".
