Berlin: pensioner races with her car in the pastry shop - six injured

In Berlin, an elderly woman ran off the street in her car and drove straight to a café. Several people were slightly injured.

An accident occurred in Berlin on Saturday morning.

An elderly woman apparently lost control of her vehicle and crashed straight into the window front of the "Wiener Conditorei" on Roseneck.

Five people in the café were slightly injured, and the driver of the car also suffered injuries, said a fire department spokesman.

According to a report in the "Bild" newspaper, the 80-year-old woman was on the Hohenzollerndamm in Berlin-Schmargendorf when she got off the street and drove into the building.

The police are still investigating the exact cause of the accident.

The fire department was with twelve vehicles

in action.

All of the injured were taken to nearby hospitals.
