US President Donald Trump on Sunday barred travelers from Brazil, who have become the second country hardest hit by the coronavirus pandemic, from entering the United States, the White House said.

Non-Americans who have visited Brazil during the 14 days preceding their request to enter the United States will not be accepted, said a press release from Kayleigh McEnany, spokesperson for the American presidency. Trade is not affected by these measures.
