In the last 24 hours, 1,229 infections in 24 hours, tampons doubled. 9 dead. A suspicious case at school requires an immediate call to the 118 operations center (ANSA)

There are 1,229 infected with Covid in the last 24 hours, 221 more than yesterday.

But compared to the previous day, the swabs processed almost doubled: 80,517 against 45,309.

The victims were 9, against 14 yesterday.

These are the figures from the Ministry of Health.

The total cases thus rose to 289,990, the deaths to 35,633.

In no region was there an absence of new positives.

The

most numerous in the last 24 hours in Lombardy (176) and Liguria (141).

The CTS initiates further checks on the hypothesis of the reduction of the quarantine.

Further insights and comparisons with international organizations and other countries.

According to what has been learned, this is the orientation that the CTS is taking in the meeting still in progress in view of a possible reduction of the quarantine days from 14 to no less than ten.

The issue, therefore - will be examined again with an international comparison also with the WHO and the Ecdc.

The line of caution - again according to what is learned - would also seem dictated by the trend of the epidemic in light of the opening of schools.

Meanwhile, the State Attorney's Office has filed the

appeal

against the

ordinance of the Sardinia Region

, in force since yesterday, which provides for mandatory tests for incoming passengers who have not presented for boarding with a certificate of negativity to Covid- 19.

ANSA learns from sources of the Democratic Party.

Failure to comply with Article 16 on the free movement of persons is the fundamental reason for the appeal filed with the Sardinian TAR.

The investigation on the ordinance had been opened immediately after publication by the Minister of Regional Affairs Francesco Boccia who worked on the legal study with the Minister of Health Roberto Speranza and the State Advocacy.

Presumably, in the appeal filed in the late afternoon at the Tar of Sardinia, there is also a request for suspension.

Now the President of the Administrative Court will decide whether to discuss it in the next council chamber or whether to proceed immediately, therefore within a few hours.

The appeal was already expected yesterday, on the first day of effectiveness of the ordinance that caused chaos in Sardinian airports with disoriented passengers and management companies struggling with a rule defined as "an enigma".

A suspected case of Coronavirus at school requires the immediate call to the 118 operations center

, telephone triage, the sending of a dedicated emergency vehicle and the rapid test.

In class, during the lessons, students will protect themselves with the para-droplets visor and will wear the mask only when the distance is impossible.

These are some of the points provided for by the System 118 Guidelines on combating Covid-19 in schools that are brought to the attention of the Prime Minister and the Ministers of Health and Education based on the strategic vision gained in the field, in the field specific out-of-hospital.

The guidelines of the Sis 118 then provide that schools are equipped with a thermo-scan and oximeter for students, teachers and school staff in order to identify a suspected case of Covid-19 as quickly as possible.

The document also reads: "It is of absolute strategic importance to ensure the 3 phases of early interception, early isolation, early treatment of cases affected by Covid-19 and to ensure the most timely execution of the rapid molecular test".

When the 118 crew arrives at school, in the room dedicated to the temporary isolation of suspected cases, the detection of vital signs, the overall clinical evaluation of the subject (possibly including lung ultrasound) and the carrying out of rapid molecular tests using a nose swab -pharyngeal.

If there is no technology capable of carrying out on-site diagnosis, the swab is taken to the competent ASL laboratory with an obligation to reply within 120 minutes.

In the event of a positive finding to the infection, the 118 will accompany in conditions of high biocontainment, the positive person to their home if asymptomatic or paucisymptomatic (in the case of a student possibly together with the parent) or to the protected transport to the Covid hospital if it is symptomatic "major".

"It is a very delicate moment for the life of our country, for the future of our children and of the national community", says Mario Balzanelli, national president of SIS118.

And he concludes: "We cannot afford errors, contagions, avoidable hospitalizations and deaths, closing of schools immediately after opening, as has already happened in many countries. In our opinion, the observance of some essential and irreplaceable recommendations and the implementation of fundamental management paths, already widely tested ".
