Public Health France reported on Saturday a record number of new confirmed cases of COVID-19, 32,427, after reporting 25,086 on Friday.

The total number of infections since the start of the year now stands at 867,197, while the total number of deaths stands at 33,392, 90 more than on Friday.
90 people have also died from the coronavirus in the past 24 hours.
A total of 1269 patients are hospitalized in intensive care.
The test positivity rate now stands at 1.3%.
