Havana-Sana

Cuban media and doctors condemned the continued imposition of unilateral western coercive measures and the start of the application of the so-called Caesar Law to Syria by the American administration, stressing that the continued imposition of these measures in the current circumstances and the invasion of the Corona epidemic to the world is a double criminal act.

In a message I sent through a SANA correspondent in Cuba, the Cuban media and the host of the famous program, Arlen Rodriguez, called for lifting the coercive measures imposed on Syria, noting that these measures directly affect the Syrian people's access to the necessary medicines and equipment to counter the emerging Corona virus.

Rodriguez stressed that health care is a human right and therefore the prevention of access to medicines and treatments is a criminal act against humanity, stressing that "the noble Syrian people deserve to live in dignity and pride."

In a similar message, Cuban journalist Martin Hutchon stressed that it is never permissible to apply sanctions, aggressive measures, an economic blockade, or the imposition of unilateral coercive measures against any country in the world, stressing that while the world faces the Corona pandemic, there must be more cooperation And solidarity between countries.

Hutchon condemned the American and Western coercive measures against Syria, pointing out that Syria has suffered for more than nine years from a war waged by mercenaries and terrorists, and at these times it is facing the Corona pandemic.

Hutchon also condemned the American and Western aggressive policy against Cuba, Iran and Venezuela in these circumstances, which require activating international solidarity and cooperation.

For its part, the Cuban doctor, Isabel Cibeiro, demanded the lifting of the unjust blockade imposed on Syria, especially in light of the Corona pandemic, affirming that health care is a right for all peoples.
