Athletes will again be able to practice their indoor activity. Noting that "the health situation is good", and even a little better than expected, the Prime Minister announced on Thursday that the modalities of the deconfinement were going to be lightened in this area too.
The government has not forgotten the followers of fitness and bodybuilding, because it has decided to authorize the reopening of gymnasiums and sports establishments from June 2 in the territories least affected by the virus, namely the classified departments in green. Excluding therefore Ile-de-France, Guyana and Mayotte, which are still classified in orange.
"I know that it was a measure expected by many as the summer approached, the pools will also be open on June 2," said the Prime Minister on Thursday during his speech. This measure will also apply only in departments classified as green zones.
Strict conditions
As for the rooms located in the orange classified departments, you will have to wait at least until June 22. As for contact or group sports, their practice remains suspended until further notice, under the same strict measures as in the previous phase.
Reception conditions will be very strict everywhere. The reservation will thus be compulsory and the slots limited in time. The number of swimmers in the pools will be limited. The direction of traffic will be defined and hygiene rules must be observed.
