(CNN Spanish) -

Every morning as usual, Esther Jiménez, 34, gets up and hits record on her cell phone.

A message, which he claims to record from the heart, for the nearly 70,000 followers of his Instagram account.

"I hope that this morning you are well since today (you can) breathe, look, listen - you must thank God, for this day, every day like I, Esther Jiménez, do," he says.

From a field in the city of Bonao northwest of Santo Domingo, this single mother of four says she has not let the vile attack with "devil's acid" that changed her life define or stop her.

Nearly a decade has elapsed since the attack with corrosive liquid that produced third degree burns on his body, mainly on his face, neck, arms and legs.

His nose had to be rebuilt, he tells us.

"I saw myself a thread from death," says Jiménez.

It was the last week of September 2011 when his life took an unexpected turn.

Jiménez was 25 years old.

"One day a boy came and stared at a chain that I have, I was the cashier."

He says he had been working in a cafeteria for seven months.

According to Jiménez, the stranger only told him "Here they sent you there" and glass in hand threw the deadly liquid at his face.

The pain he says was unbearable, "wherever I put my hands it burned me."

From 2011 to date, Esther has undergone 27 surgeries, including the removal of her left eye so that she would not completely lose her vision.

"It is something that actually that I do not even wish it to the one who threw that at me," he says.

The Attorney General of the Monsignor Nouel province, Joel Antonio López, informed CNN that he will reopen the case that had fallen into limbo.

Although Esther wants justice, she assures nothing that she will return everything she has lost.

"If they put him in prison right now, they leave and for them they have already paid, that is not justice for a person who does as great a damage as they did to me," said Esther.

At 34 he says that although he has not managed to overcome what he lived, today he has found a support network and to his surprise, he has become an inspiration for the thousands that follow him.

“It has been a blessing for me, although I am a blessing for them, they have been for me,” Esther revealed.

Now she gives and receives advice of hope through Instagram, her favorite platform.

Esther Jiménez is, without a doubt, a source of inspiration for the thousands of people who follow her on social networks, her immediate plan: start creating her YouTube channel and continue to support, empower and guide those who, like her, have tried to maim them the hope.
